We kicked off the holidays with a visit to my family in Birmingham. Mom had Veteran's Day off and so we headed to the zoo.
It was unseasonably warm on this day!

Summer and Mimi are both saying "Choo Choo!" as the train passed.
Summer's eyes lit up as she saw the monkeys in the play area above us!
However, one of her favorite parts was standing on the ledge and leaning against the glass.
